Default How do you make veins appear on your calves? :D

Yeah, I do sprints often, but I'm not sure if it's enough. it's just so weird having veins that pop up on my arms and a lot less on my legs. xO

What else do I need to do to increase the visibility of the veins? Well I know they're there, I can feel them and they're really visible when I do the sprints/running, but I really want the big vein that's between the calf and the shin on the inside leg.

=S not sure if that made sense... again, but yeah. =] do I need to lose more leg fat?

Chicks dig them? Nah, I've had enough veins on my arms to worry about, so I have no idea.

I believe weight-lifting will do the trick.

What kind of person would worry about that?

You should get checked out by a psychologist, you may have severe body image problems.

The only sure way I know of that worked for me is to wait until your old. Watch the spider veins and vericose veins pop out on your lower legs. Chicks don't dig it though. I would post pics of mine but I don't want to get removed from the boards.

in all honesty this is a pretty insignificant thing to worry about, and also i doubt he has body image problems, i have a lot of questions about the way my body is a certain way and i know that i don't have image problems.

Actually, this was my first thought upon reading the OP's question. He's probably a teenager...or younger.

Cool

Wash your legs with cold water right after exercise... That will do the trick...
But it will do more harm and no good...

What substance are you on?... hehehe jk

Peace

Yeh i know what you mean. It does look pretty cool. There are a few contributing factors. You need to have extremely low body fat. You also need to have muscle mass. But the most significant factor is your genetics and how your cardiovascular system is structured. Some peoples veins and arteries are closer to the skin surface than others hence they will be more visible.

And for people with varicose veins be likely you don't have it this severe:

Looks like they put dye in the left leg???

Mine is not that far off and will likely look like this in a few years. When I have been on my feet all day they are buldging quite a bit like they are in this pic- although only about 10-12 inches in various places on my lower legs.

Yeh thats dye in the left leg.

Its not too good if your getting to a satge like that but unfortunately there is not a lot you can do about it. Try to avoid being on your feet all day....sit whenever you can.

I guess I can kind of feel his pain. I was a soccer player growing up, so my calves were my only real muscle in the 9th grade. Early on that probably made me work them more, and I remember very clearly one evening trying to do pushups. I did about 3. So I didn't like working upper body for about a year.

I had veins and striations in the muscle. To get that. I found a wood 2X4 and started doing calf raises. I would go til it burned then keep going, When you think you can't do anymore do 10 more.

And I was cycling about 40 miles a day to get to swim practice.

Veins will appear when you have low bodyfat. The veins are there in everyone, but not everyone is lean. Pumping up those muscles will add to the vascular appearance, but the true way to show off those veins is to decrease the bodyfat.

Yeah, if you want a vascular look, you have to drop the bodyfat, and you have to improve capillary development in the area (by doing endurance or anaerobic endurance work) in the area. NO2 and/or working out to get a pump can help with overall look. If you're competition level (and this also applies for top natural contests), then you also have to look into losing water to get a paper think look with the skin.

Ha. xD

I am in no influence of any kind of drug or other substances.

But yeaaah. it is gross. even in my arms... but I just want one certain vein. ^^ I guess it's just a better intimidation factor, and it DOES kinda look cool (in my crazy opinion). (yes, I'm a teenager >.<)

making point clear: just one

grr. so I need to lose body fat? xO dang. that means I gotta build muscle and then cut....
