Default Bungalo, Mojo, anybody: 2hd BH grip question

Right handed player. I've always used the following unorthodox grip on my 2 hander: eastern forehand (bevel 3) on my right hand, and bevel 7 on left. I'm getting good spin and control, but my wrist on left hand has been injured and I want to keep it locked on impact (which is also much better mechanically) -- so, I'm thinking of switching to bevel 1 or 2 with my right hand so the face is naturally vertical at impact, thus requiring less wrist movement overall.

so the question is this: what is the logic behind using bevels 1 (right hand) and 7 (left hand)? and, will switching to this grip make it easier for me to keep my wrists completely locked?

thanks for any answers
