I just recently purchased the Barricade III and I am not impressed
at all. These shoes are definitely not what I would consider a performance shoe to be used for tournaments, but I would consider them to be ideal as a practice shoe. They look great, excellent durability, and they are comfortable. The problem with the shoe is the fit/support-too much padding on the sides and top of the foot allows your foot to shift a little as your foot presses up against the excessive padding. This padding, along with the beefed up sole, also causes the shoe to have a clunky, and boxy fit that you are constantly aware of as you plod around the court. You definitely do not feel like a speed demon with these shoes-very disappointing for the price. |
