Default Knees/Legs totally out of action

Here is the story and I am asking if I am right and obviously what can be a possible cure..

Starts out with I am playing/practicing tennis about 8-10+ hours a week on hardcourt and in the beginning it was fine because I was only doing maybe 6-8 hours a week. Then I hit mental depression for the past 2+ weeks and I have been overloading tennis on myself as it is one of the only things that makes me feel better. Now ever since monday my knees and legs were just totally shot. Yesterday we tried to hit around for maybe 2.5 hours and I could not even move around the court at all... basically all i can do was the first initial split step, then i can gather enough power to move towards the ball then after i hit it... i am basically incapacitated... I am not an unathletic person... quite strong, in-shape.

Question is... is it depression thats causing the body to not have any energy/power and thus causing the body to not recover as quickly after exercises as before... ?

Could be you're so depressed that your cortisol levels are through the roof - this can cause all kinds of problems, including impaired ability to recover from exercise...

After three intense days I am worthless on the fourth. Got to let your body recover. Not doing so leads to where you are at IMO.
