the only annoying thing that comes to mind in this thread is say the pressure has gotten to him and he does send top spin's racquets, but in the end he will most likely never stop doing what he's doing until he actually does pay a consequence.

take this guy down!

I know you're reading this thread Charles, karma will get you and I hope you pay the consequences.

Lightning always strikes twice, so if charles believes he got away with this he'd better guess again. One day he's going to scam the wrong person and then he'll wish he never scammed at all

that is what i am hoping for as well

for him to one day get scammed and realise how all the people he ripped off felt

as bad as it is, i dont like to wish bad things on people but sometimes bad people get what they deserve

it would be awesome if everybody in socal could go and pay him a visit and just tell him off but i doubt people would do it, nor would he ship them

i just hope one day his guilty conscience gets to him

i hope he never sells anything ever again online, for the sake of honest and trust worthy people

He is playing with fire scamming people online. There are some nasty people out there...one day he might just scam a person that wont think twice about paying him a visit (and we all know what some crazy people will do these days).

He wont get away with this.

I hope you get your rackets.

Nick
I recommend everyone use Heatware (http://www.heatware.com/) it is widely used on tech sites such as anandtech, hardforums, etc. but can be used to trade anything.

Also, if you do use heatware, ALWAYS email the email listed on the site to verified that the evaluation is the actual person.

I have shipped and sold high priced items to people by using heatware to look up their references.

It is standard practice at anandtech, that people who do not have heatware ship first, this cuts down on scamming as it discourage scammers (like Charles) to make up a new username and scam members.

If both members are new (no evaluations or very few evaluations) then the members can ask for a third party. This made cost more, but an extra $20 is better than losing a few hundred.

Why would I want to contact him on your behalf?
That's between you two.

This quote
"why would i help you"
sounding rude

is much different than
"Why would I want to contact him on your behalf?
That's between you two."
which is much more polite. You lose credibility now.

Btw where is the whole email, you leave out what you had to say first.

And I agree with ChuDat, careful with this other user. He was also able to "find" Charles tennis meet up page.

I would be suspicious of new users too. But as anyone can see, all I have done is offered Charles info and the link to SJPD(the local police). I have not may any offers to buy or sell anything so far. The reason why my post is posted here is I originally had interest in Charles's Pro Staff 6.0 but was suspicious of why any one would have so many rackets for sale, not to mention mainly expensive ones.

As for careful trusting the new user, all I have asked so far is for his email. As Topspin will later verify, the email I sent him has nothing in regards to personal deals or sales. I don't see how he's trusting me, beyond giving his email

why are you dragging bruno into this? he's one of the best guys here. just because he lives in a certain area he should go to someone's house and act on your behalf? ridiculous!

bruno is good in my books.

Did you contact his local authorities yet? I forgot when did you and charles make the deal and when did you ship the racquets? One of my friends baught some stuff overseas(china) during holidays and it took about 2-3 weeks I think. He's on Aim right now, I would ask about your racquets but he just going to say I shipped them and then leave.
