i just corrected you - in my post above

he used the tour 10 gen 1 in 2003 and hasn't changed. many pics on the net. even on the new PJ his grommet strip goes all the way round the head. the c-10 didn't have that type of grommet

exactly, that is one good way to tell. the other is the shape of the upper hoop

It looks to me that starting in Jan. 2008 that Dancevic switchd to the C10 Pro. The bumper part of the Grommets don't go around the head like on the Tour 10 MP Gen 1.

This photo is from the 2008 Australian Open playing with the yellow C10 Pro

This photo is from June 2008 at the Surbiton Trophy plaiying with the black c10 Pro

This Photo is from June 2008 also at the Surbiton Trophy playing with the C10 Pro.

This isnt concusive either. the dnx10mp uses the same mold as the gen1 and the bumper doesnt wrap all the way around on that frame either. maybe he is using a dnx10mp w.o the dnx material fused on there. the headshape also looks more like the t10 mold than the c10 mold and i'm not interested enough to count, but the stringbed looks dense like a dnx10mp stringbed might as well.....none of this has any importance anyway..the guy is a really good player..he could play well with any number of racquets, and his racquets are customized for him...additonally, photos even if they actually tell what a player is using, only indicate what he/she was using at the moment of time the pictures were taken...players do change

I still think Dancevic uses the C10 Pro. Dancevis's racquet does have the Twin Absober Handle.

This photo was taken on July 22, 2008 at the Rogers Cup in Toronto.

Dancevic's racquet has the 16x19 string pattern just like the C10 Pro.

Oh! Did I mention I also own a C10 Pro.

pictures show he is using the twin absorber buttcap..you dont know that it is a actual twin absorber handle system under there or that he even uses any dampening system...that thing you see is a thin piece of cardboard w. graphics on it..the dampening system <if any> lies beneath. you gotta love the German attention to detail even on paintjobs. hey, maybe they powerbridged the bridge of HIS frame making it more a PB10 than a c10...maybe it's a gen1 w. dnx bumper..maybe the layup is that of a Gen1 or a pb10 or a dnx10...quien sabe..who cares...all the pictures prove is that he is using a paintjob of a c10pro, which is what we all knew to begin with

good pics. maybe he did switch then. the pics i saw clearly had the CAP like bumper. maybe they were just old? the backhand shot where you show 16x19 really looks like the c-10 mold. doesn't have the flare out at 4/8 o'clock like the t10 does.

in this pic from 2007 rogers cup he has the t10 gen 1 mold. you can see the difference.

I will also point out that Dancevic's racquet (which I firmly think is at the very least the mold of the C10 Pro) uses the C10 Pro Grommets. The Bumper at the top of the racquet has a narrow slit that is just barely wide enough to let the string sit in it.

All of the Voelkl players I have seen using a paint job have a yellow butt-cap with the Voelkl logo. Like Danecvic here when he had the Tour 10 Gen1 with the paint job of the Gen2.

You won't see any more yellow butt caps on the tour, there are no Volkl sponsored players. The yellow butt cap was the regular butt cap with color filled in and a Volkl emblem sticker affixed to it.

Dancevic is playing a stock C10 with a little weight added to it. He stencils because he gets his rackets for free, there is no additional endorsement. This is a case where the pro actually prefers the frame, kind of like Connors and the T2000. Again, the rackets are out of regular production.

There is no dampening system on any C10 unless you call a butt cap with two pieces of foam about 1/8" thick a 'system'.
