Also about a month ago a guy posted a 95 on the forums for 65 shipped Here

The last thing I need is to seriously consider any more frames. I tried both frames in high school and didn't like them enough to buy. I just now like trying everything, just in case, but also mostly to see if my old feelings/experiences were valid.

p.s. that Kafelnikov frame was fun to play with. I know the Ti50 would be a blast with new strings too.

Weirdest line out of that dude was after HW hit an ace or something and dude says something like - "you've been hanging around Paris Hilton too much." I was like HUHHHH???????? Then he claimed someone gave him Red Skin tickets for free? Those are like gold, not gonna happen.
He also claimed to get free corporate box seats to Legg Mason, both tickets supposedly were received from standing on a street corner... I can only really think of two reasons you would stand on a street corner in D.C. besides trying to hail a cab or catch a bus

What are you building TFM?

Or should I ask...'who' are you building?

I decided last minute to give it a shot, because my ankle has been slowly getting better and better. I actually showed up to the courts at 4:40 thinking I was late for the 4:30 start time. I was calling Sup to see if I was at the right location.

Different strokes for different folks. JRS is solid from everywhere in the court, HW is more flashy and a shotmaker. I gotta say though, when HW was hitting by himself against the two of us, he was cracking the ball. Both his forehand and backhand are heavy, lots of topspin, and powerful. In a tense match, I would probably prefer JRS consistency over anything flashy. However, I would love to be able to crack the ball and own the point like HW has the opportunity to do every time he has a look at a shot.

sappy - yes pls. i am putting together a really old and cheap PC for the kids to watch cartoons and log onto pbskids.com -- i don't want them stumbling into my cache of adult oriented movies.

"uncle tfm what are they doing to each other?!?!?"

"they're in prison. you don't ever want to go to prison. stay in school. don't do drugs. go get me a beer pls."

nope. 4200 is DDR2 memory. pc2100 is old stuff. i think it's hard to find because the hamsters in the memory sticks usually die by now.

Default TWMAC Aug 2008 BBQ/Meet

So its time to put together another BBQ. Hopefully before the holiday weekend.

So lets throw out some dates. Location will be decided after we get a date.

Aug 16th?
Aug 23rd?
Aug 30th?

Like last time, it will be a pot luck situation. Anyone know of a great park with a nice grill area, that would be ideal.

Sup

Aug 16 -no
Aug 23 - yes
Aug 30 - yes

The only places I know that have grilling areas are around here, in Alexandria. Did you have a specific area in mind for the meet?

really nice critique. i agree with your assessment. flashy looks great and gets all the lesbian chicks but consistency and solid play works everytime. it'd be interesting to see them play a set and see which play reigns supreme - iron chef style.

tfm.

bad news. 60GB is about to die. turned it on and it's making a low pitched noise. transfer rate is also unstable.

good news: found you a 10GB that's low leveling right now. drive looks good. also should be big enough for kids unless you are trying to hide porn away from your suspecting wife.

i don't know what you are talking about sappy. this is a PG rated thread. i think we should keep this about tennis only. it's only about the tennis. nothing else.

Sup -- you wanna shoot for a Sat morning or Sun morning tennis session somewhere? could be at least 3 of us with you, Sap and EZRA. any other takers?

*edit* ahh crap. i cannot commit to any tennis. i am merely a bystander.

event: Legg Mason thursday (Aug 14th)

location: DC

since there's a lack of response for tickets i'm assuming that people will order their own tickets? or maybe thinking of picking up at the door? regardless can i get a show of hands how many members are thinking of attending on that day?

How about early early Saturday morning (tomorrow), so its not as hot, and you can get back to your family before the first cheerio is poured.

See my post #10969.

None of my business, but your coach's negotiating for a shorter match with the Lady Topaz makes you look wimpy and scared. Be a man. Play her straight up, real tennis. Grrrrr.

Just sayin'.
