Whoo! Congrats!

Not an owner, but I hear it needs a sturdy table to set up on, and its quite heavy(70lbs +).

I just received mine a little over a week ago, do a calibration of the crank. I picked a a digital fish scale at Walmart for $20, and when I checked the calibration it was 4# low. Easy to make the changes. The DVD provided with the machine covers all aspects of the machine and stringing techniques etc. The machine is excellent.

The machine comes almost fully assembled, so no worries with that. The biggest change I made was to add a cart so I wouldn't have to keep bending over my coffee table.

I've had my Revo for about 2 or 3 weeks and it's great. The crank is great and is very time efficient. The only problem I have encountered is at certin times when pulling tension, the crank handle will get stuck under the mounting table. when this happens just rotate the table a bit and the handle will be free to move.

overall great machine, great string that comes with it, and you made a great choice with the Revo.

Have fun.

I would suggest getting a starting clamp because starting with the fixed table clamps leaves me either adjusting the clamps too tight (leaving marks) or the string slipping.

Also, I would suggest tightening the 6 point mounts as little as possible (until the K-shaped peiced touch the frame) because I overtightened and marked up my bumper guards - the frame deforms a little bit during stringing and increased the pressure on the mounts.

Thks to all of you who responded so far - It did come pretty much fully assembled and it is a bear, the box weighed almost 75lbs!

I placed the order on Friday night the 22nd and got my machine on the 26th Tuesday morning!

I havn't used a crank in over 20 yrs when i last worked in a tennis pro shop - I am so looking fwd to using it!

Watch YULitle's vid on tightening knots. In there, he uses a starting clamp. It can be used to start crosses, decrease slippage on initial pulls, and tighten knots.

It's like a floating clamp that hangs onto one string at a time and has uniform clamping.

No - I went with another Austin based dealer that was given to me by Alpha.
I just looked at the box and it still shipped direct from Alpha - It came with 3 reels of Alpha string (to mess with) and the basic tool set: Needle nose pliers, Cutters, Awl, Auger and Two smaller floating clamps -

The Revo is a great machine. I bought this from TW around 6 months ago and it works well. It came with a bunch of strings, over grips, and replacement grips.
