Any suggestions? I'm thinking about getting some leather grips and then cover it with overgrips. Some of the overgrips I've used in the past leaves a residue on the replacement grip when I take it off so I'm hoping to avoid the same problem.

I use Yonex Supergrap on my Wilson Leathers, and nothing has "stained" them yet.

+1 for Yonex Supergrap. It's the only overgrip I'll ever use.

I still get some of the residue from underside of Supergrap remaining on the original grip, no matter what color I use. Just clean it up with a little alcohol. Works on removing the left over starter adhesive, too.

Gamma Supreme has not left residue for me and there is no starter adhesive to remove.

tournagrip, if left on as long as it takes to wear out, actually does leave a residue on synthetic grips like durapro or syntec
on leather, no residue, nothing.
