Tennis in Guadalajara

I will be attending med school in Guadalajara, Mexico this August. Does anyone know what the tennis scene is like there (clubs, fees, pro shops)? I don't think I'll have enough time to compete, but I still plan on hitting balls for at least an hour to an hour and a half daily with someone of comparable level (I'm at 5.5 NTRP). Anyone have any experience with tennis in Guadalajara?
