Go with whatever is more comfortable. I also had a choice of either Barricades or Breath Cage 2, I went with the breath cages purely comfort wise.

And tofi, by reading about something you know how good they are? I've been using these breath cages for easily 6 months now and they're still good as new...best tennis shoes I've ever had.

I have B Vs in my closet and hardly wear them. I used to have Vapor III before and these Bs are really heavy and hurt my the inside of my right ankle. I agree, they are very well made, but I don't like them too much on hardcourt. On clay they are ok. Mb they still should break in.

That's just promotion and endorsment. Doesn't mean that Nike is a better brand....

Not to mention Federer isn't wearing retail Vapours, nor Nadal actual Cages.

Nike has great comfort and cushioning if that is what you are after. The durability seems to go to the Barricades. If you have wide feet then don't go with the Nikes. The XDR outsoles at least for me have lasted longer than the previous DRC2 outsoles. If you fit both then go with the pair you can get a better deal on.

If you have a closet full of Adidas, i wouldn't throw it off with nike shoes. You wore your shoes right in time to buy the Shanghai barricade 5's!!!. then after that you can look forward to the new adidas shoes!!!
By the way i am a diehard nike fan

to the OP. go with whatever you feel you'd like more. i personally won't play with anything other than Barricades, i wear everything else out too fast.
