Default 2 handed bh..should my wrist be laid back?

I was reading the thread, "inconsistent 1 handed backhand driving me crazy" and there was an argument over whether the wrist should be laid back during the swing. So my question is simply that on the 2 hander. Should my wrist be laid back? I'm truly confused. I experimented with both, and if you lay back your wrist, it's more of a push, and if you pronate your wrist its more of whip and so I can generate more racquet speed that way. What do you all think?

I'm a new user btw

Laid back! Using a lot of wrist especially without the fitness of the pros would most likely lead to injury.

It seems there is a confusion on exactly what laid back is. Because even though your wrist will be laid back on contact, on the follow through it does pronate. I would go by feeling. You should feel your power coming from your legs and your core, while your wrist and arms are relatively relaxed through your swing. If this is the case and you're not straining your wrist and arm to juice out strength, you're good to go.

You mean your top hand? You can't mean the bottom hand because the only time it pronates is on a slice.

lay your wrist back through contact and try not to use your wrist to generate any power, then naturally let it relax and properly follow through the shoulders.
