Yet another PK clone - they made a heap of these, for various manufacturers. I didn't know they made a Dunlop one.

i had no idea I was cloning Virginia, otherwise I would have disclosed it, honest... let's see the original Ace pls to confirm cloning...vintage racquets seem original and uniquely designed at first, yet they are riddled with clones...even clones like the cayman tnt 90, have become legendary, attaining cult status...because of personal history, stats, or racquet history clones can be much more valuable than originals...case in point adidas gtx pro, a clone of my favorite, the white star masters....

plasma, all I meant was that Pro Kennex made a lot of racquets for other manufacturers, very similar to their various Ace composites, such as the Golden Ace. I didn't mean "cloning" perhaps in the sense you mean it.

I don't know what you call it, but that brown piece between the shaft and the handle is pretty much identical on all these racquets, including your Dunlop and the Head Vilas and Rossignol C-12, both of which I have. All the PK composites have that piece, including both Golden Aces, Blue Ace and Grapower 70 (which I believe was the very first one of its kind).

ok, since I was curious about the unique and strong looking a-player headshape, possibly a predicessor to the later puma and volkl frame shapes. The throat piece on this baby is beautiful Virginia, more armoire than racquet, pics really don't do it justice, it is art!!!

Composites are my absolute favourite, as far as sheer beauty of style and finish is concerned - truly works of art, as you say.

I've hit with my Golden Ace and it's sheer heaven - it swings so easily and delivers a bullet.

Prince Woodie was a beauty as well, even their cases were nice. Prince was high end back in the day. There weren't a billion brands and models. Just trusted manufacturers and solid racquets...The woodie that Noah won the French with is a rare treasure...again pics don't do it justice, it is rare art...

I wish I could find a graphite Noah...

Which le coq is that one? I have the Roscoe Tanner model and am hoping to get a pair of Noah TF-40's soon. Lovely and interesting frames, aren't they!

I miss my Noah, I traded my Noah to complete my ultra collection. I must say though, that slivver of wood in the throat is one of the most beautiful things in existence, from a side view the grains of wood can be seen, a strangely powerful mix of natures imperfect perfection trapped in precise engineering and modern manufacturing. The finish is a high end minimalist silver color field,covered by a gooey translucent 1/8 inch layer of transparent gel medium.
From the first day I saw pics of your racquets Virginia, I knew that you were much much different than any other collector. I saw right thru to your love for the aesthetic beauty of a racquet, as being the sole criteria for your collection. For this reason I would strongly suggest the silver Noah, a super dooper jaw dropping good looker, you will fall in love all over again guaranteed!!!

Life with the lord is much easier than hitting with the Prince "Elohim". Maybe the shuddering and shaking that comes from being in the presence of "Ha Shem" has to do with the frustration that comes from hitting the frame so much??? I do love hitting with it though and wish they had made a more flexible Prince God Comp, like the "prophet" or the disciple" or something...Prince God would be awesome with Spectrum Comp like flex, unfortunately it's too stiff like it's big sister the Prince Tricomp...
