Default Serving, what to do with nonracket hand?

Hello, what should I do with my left hand while I serve? When I hit the ball, my hand is tucked in snug to my body. I was on Youtube though, and I found these clips of Grigor, Murray, and Roddick with their left arm swinging out behind them.

Is throwing the left arm out ideal for serving?
