This evening I played tennis twice.
First I played an hour of some social doubles (well, as social as it can be with four competitive guys on the court Then an hour later I had the regular tennis group practice session. And suddenly everything worked like a charm. I bombed in my serves. I blasted forehands. Backhands were solid. Ah well. Just gotta keep the "feeling" from that last session to the league match we're going to play on Saturday... |

whats messed up is there actually not a bad breed. there really is no such thing as a bad breed just horrible owners with no brains. ive had a few friends with them and never once felt threatened by a pitbull. sure if you attack one your gonna lose pretty fast but they are actually pretty calm dogs.
another note did you ever see the dogtown with the surviving michael vick dogs. one of the saddest things ive ever watched. |

*sneaks into the kitchen, finds 3 raw steaks, throws them out the front door just as far as I can*
No dogs inside please, unless they can fit inside my purse.

*stumbles less than gracefully into Bistro holding an empty bottle of Arbour Mist.*
Wow, did I just see four dogs hangin' in front guarding the door? They were chewing on something slightly resembling meat and I hope it wasn't one of our regulars! *looks around to make sure the dance area is vacant* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWXMDyKsNX8 Okay, that was fun. I love that song when I can let loose! Now for my ultimate favourite song (my friends say this is my signature song.....perhaps because I have overplayed it to death....for YEARS)! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eja-popojUo Excellent! *blows kisses in the air in my tipsy delight*

Time to clean the fridge. I so no wanna!! Somone please distract me. I don't think there is anything alive in there and I can't smell anything rotting but it's always a scary chore.

Oh my gawd!! There is a bottle of liquid iron on the second shelf that has somehow spilled and the bottle is stuck to the glass (at the very back I will add). I am not amused here! Still no stinkin' distraction so off I go again.

Here I had planned on a nice Friday at a pub, drinking beer and chatting with some friends. And then it gets cancelled due to too many people not having time to attend. Gah!
AH well, the Bistro is almost as nice. And I'll be in better shape for tomorrows tennis league match. |

Peter, tell me a story please. Something to take my mind off the crap I am up to my elbows in? Really, how many jars of pickles with one or two in each do I have here?

Oh CC...dontcha just hate that? My Mother was famous for that. There is a firm rule in the ILC kitchen. Only 1 bottle of something may be opened. Only 1 bag of something may be opened. I also try to live by the following rule. If you see crap on the shelf, wipe it up when you see it. Cuz it'll only get worse. Then sticky stuff gets on the bottom of bottles and the stickiness goes wherever the bottle goes....it's a vicious circle.
Sits down on the bar stool next to Peter. Tell me about your latest matches. I'll try to keep you company while CC slaves away. She'll probably be awhile.

I am now adopting the ILC rule. That was ridiculous - an entire giant garbage bag full of stuff to take to the bin. What a waste! I hear you on the wipe as you go - I have the crispers lined with paper towels, but there was so much stuff crammed in there - the iron bottle was at the back so I didn't even realize. All the shelves were taken to the tub for a scrub and the entire inside and outside of the fridge and freezer is now spotless. I did manage to end up with an extra shelf but am leaving it in storage since everything fits much better without it.
On to the stove.............
