Anything before post 7 holds your initial argument.

3) In post #7, we see that the racket was shipped as Kirby responded
4) My response - post#12 talks about the shipping, since in #7 appears that Kirby shipped the racket
5) you, on the other hand, still think that the racket was NOT shipped and that the OP is concerned about the correspondence rather than the tracking number and shipping time.

Initial point WAS that the seller ignored him, everything after the post #7 is NOT about it any more...shown in OP's post #9

Next time, let me know, I can draw it for you...

dude,
why are you so thickheaded??? Fluffy was making a point about Kirby NOT making any contact, hence the START of the thread. #7 has nothing to do with Fluffy's post to you. You said to wait two weeks to make a refrence such as this, but you were clearly meaning the SHIPPING TIME since you know from #7 he MAY have shipped. Fluffy's post to YOU was just stating the fact the thread started because of Kirby's ignoring the OP.

Wow...you are really, really clueless and I am shocked you continue to argue. Why don't you RE-READ this thread and really try hard to understand what is going on. If you have been in aterrible car accident and have little to no comprehension, then fine (please let us know), but there is something wrong with you if you don't get what Fluffy is saying...my god!

guys,

appreciate all your help and encouragement, my intention for starting this thread was to vent a bit of my frustration and really look for some advice. Sorry if there has been any misunderstanding.

just to recap, i did finally get a response from kirby after starting this thread and sending a threatening email to him. So on the 20th of May he finally responded infact almost immediately. He said that he has been busy and said that he shipped them a few days before that.

Now an update. On the 2nd June i get an email from him confirming that he has received my kblade tour and get this he says.... "The post office called me and said they lost the racquet in shipment. I sent my other 3/8 gripsize one out a few days ago, and you should receive it next week"

do post offices really call to tell you that they lose packages in Canada, cause if it is - that's a great service they're running over there for packages with no tracking number. So fearsome forehand was right in saying expect the lame excuses.

Well it's now the 17th of June - a long way away from when I shipped my racket on the 10th of May... I guess I really learnt my lesson this time

You should be able to complain to police or something like that...That is just sad...This is one of the reasons i do not do international trade/sale. At least within US you have a small chance of getting your money/items back.
Sorry to hear about that man.

That is just low, why are there so many people out there who have no moral/ethical values. I'm actually really ticked off that someone can do that and get away with it. OP, do you have more information on this guy so maybe some of our IT/CS-specialized posters here can track him down?

Have you thought about this option? I mean, if someone ever has a problem in Boston area, with seller/buyer, i am willing to look in to this and help with anything i can.
Just a thought.
I would never actually "physically" get involved in these kinds of disputes nor would I ask/want anyone on my behalf. You never know who you run into. There are sick people out there and can you imagine being blown away at someone's doorstep asking about a tennis racquet?

Well, there are ways to handle it. If there is a will, there is a way.

Sounds like a lie, IMO. How would they know who to call or how to contact the package owner if the package is lost. All that information is on the customs forms which are attached to the package.

BTW, those customs forms have a bar code and you can track the package by that code.

IMO, you were lied to and strung along. Your initial feeling was correct and you were correct to post your concerns here.

In Kirby's behalf, I have trade several rackets with him and he has come through each time. The communication isn't always there, but I have always received the racket. (often times shipping has taken awhile) I hope all works out for you.

Hopefully, you're correct. It's approaching 6 weeks since they finalized their deal.

There you go.
On the university page there is a link to email coach....
OP can email coach and explain him what is going on, also send him a link to this post.
I would do just that if i was OP.
And see what kind of response you get. If coach does not response, i would contact University just to let them know about their student's behavior.

I just saw this thread and was very surprised. I did not see this earlier and Andrew if there was a problem, you should have talked to me first. The post office told me that the racquet was lost in shipment. Having said that, I sent another racquet in the same condition. I followed up with you to tell you that you should receive it next week. Yet, you did not send me an email if there was a problem. I still dont know if you have received the racquet. If you havent, I can send back your kblade or paypal you the money, but you should have emailed me first if there was a problem. I don't go through looking at the references very often and luckily I found this one.

Sounds like this issue may get resolved....at last.
OP, please keep us posted.
I would like to think that kirbster123 is not a bad person but, just....irresponsible may be....like many kids are. In any case, let's hope for positive outcome.

The Post office contacted me because I am a small business owner, and save on a plan called Venture One. Anytime I ship something, it is logged on my account. When the product didnt arrive to its destination, they have contact info. If I did not have Venture One, then yes, there would be no one to contact.

At our first deal, I cut the string into 18ft halves as you said. I also made another mistake on the address, which i misspelled. I do apologize, but it still did arrive and still worked fine in your racquet. Im not saying that this is okay, but I apologized and even offered to pay you for the string. When I asked to trade string again, I offered to send the string first, but you did not reply.
