Old and New

hey guys, i have no idea if this is an old post or not, but i wanted to know what the difference is between the old pure drive with old paint and the new pure drives with new paint. same goes for the controls. the place i demoed rackets at a while ago had the old painted ones for demo and when i bought the new one with new paint it felt completely different. thanx guys!

and i forgot to mention that there must be a difference since players seem to just repaint their old ones.

there are several versions of the PD. The first version did not have the woofer system. This is the frame that moya and clisters use. The PD that came after that, the one with the blue swirl stuff in the graphics, included the woofer as well as the model that is out today. There is nothing different in these two models except for the graphics. I have both the later models and they play exactly the same, and the specs are the same, other then the shift in the string tension recomendation.

For the Pure Control the mold of the first issue and the actual version are completely different. The first PC had a bit smaller head, 1 or 2 mm thinner beam and more classic cross section. And it had no Woofer. For the Pure Drive they didn't changed the mold, just the string pattern including Woofer and the drilling of the holes is different.
