Default jinx on HEAD sponsored players

over the last few years, only few HEAD players reach grand slam finals. I know grand slam is not everything about tennis. but still last year us open, murray was runner up. always been fererer(wilson), nadal(babolat), djokovic(he was wilson but now head), tsonga(wilson), roddick(babolat).
this year, everyone in uk think that murray will be in wimby final because of nadals absence but he couldnt get through.

idk its just coincidence or what...
i was just bored and watched past grand slam finals at 2 in the morning.
kinda pointless thread though.

Last male to win a grand slam using a Head racquet was Marat Safin, 2005 AO.

Do women count in this thread? Kuznetsova just won RG with a Head MicroGEL Extreme 2009.

I think once you realize that 21 of the last 30 slam finalists were either Nadal or Fed (that's 70% of all slam finalist spots), it doesn't leave that many spots. So it doesn't really mean anything. Stick around and Djokovic is bound to be added to the mix again. Not to mention that Murray, Soderling and Safin already were there. Nothing to it.

Interesting, with Nadal's knees giving up and Federer getting old, in 2 or 3 years Djokovic and Murray may very well win most of the majors. Head seems to be well positioned for future dominance.
