They use to until about 3 years ago when they cancelled every player they had under contract on the tour.

It has nothing to do with sadness, gladness, willingness to endorse or the quality of their product. It's a business thing. Benjamin already has a contract with Babolat for racquets, and Volkl isn't spending money on getting racquet endorsers now. This is how endorsement always works. I don't know why people are determined to read into things like this so much. Product endorsement is always a contract/money thing, straight up, not whether or not a pro is "willing" to endorse something.

I'd rather buy a racquet where the manufacturer spent money on MAKING the racquet as good as it can without shelling money to some high profile pro, and having the price bumped up because of endorsements...
