Default Demo Breaking while playing

Hypothetically, what happens if when hitting with a demo it breaks, like you havent been abusing it or anything just normal hitting, what happens?

(Before answering TW Staff cross references "Prestige Player" e-mail address to see if he has any demo currently out)

If the racquet breaks during play and there are no signs of abuse, then you will not be charged. However, if there are visible and obvious signs of user abuse, you will be charged for that demo.

Unless they made you sign some kind of agreement stating that you'd pay for it if you broke it, it's irrelevant how it broke.

They also don't make you sign an agreement that if you never returned the demo that they will charge you the full price of the racquet, but they will.

Don't forget that they have your credit card number.

It's common law, precedent, Pottery Barn rule, that "if you break it, you buy it."

My local shop - ******** sports is pretty easy going about demos but it has to be "normal wear and tear - like if the head is completely smashed then obviously it wasn't due to playing - u pay full price - pretty lenient about string breakage too...
