Default What racquet does Sam Querry play with?

I thought it was the Prince Hybrid Tour, but they said today it was the Ozone Pro Tour if I remember right. The ATP site says the Diablo, and I know that's not right.

The setup today was the black and orange with the Oports only at 3 and 9.

What does the o wise and holy wearhouse have to say?

i think its the Diablo with o ports, painted to resemble the hybrid tour. Few points
1. the head shapes are different hybrid tour is more oval, his is more circular like the diablo. 2. string patterns are different the hybrid tour is 16x18, Querrey's is 18x20 hence he has more o ports on his

hope this helps

In the link you posted, the racket is clearly 16x20, not 18x20.

Thats odd, they aren't even tyring to push the O3 Hybrid tour anymore. Seems like they'd want him promoting a newer frame of theirs.

An earlier thread confirmed that Querrey did use the 18x20 HT for a little while before switching to the custom 16x20.
I know he used to use the diablo, but in a recent TTC bag check he holds up the HTs and says he's been using them since he was a kid. If it is a diablo with o-ports, you would thing they could at least give it a new pj and market it properly, as querrey is one of prince's most visible players.

What makes the 16x18 pattern custom in a Hybrid Tour? From what I remember, and what I can find, its the normal spec for that racket:

The O3 Hybrid Tour features O-Ports at 3 and 9 o'clock around the perimeter of the frame, increasing racquet head speed and providing more spin and power for the advanced player.
Headsize: 95
Strung Weight: 12 oz.
Length: 27
String Pattern: 16X18
Strung Balance: 8 points HL
Beam Width: 21 mm Straight Beam
String Tension: 51-61 lbs

What makes it custom is that the O3 Hybrid Tour is 16x18 (or 18x20 in some stores), but Sam is using a 16x20.

Diablo with O-ports, and not selling to the public?? Yeah right!! Like Prince is going to do that. It's a custom O3 Hybrid Tour...
