Yeah..the Barricades are damn nice, but I could have bought Vapors for a little more. I prefer them since they are lighter, and are not all leather.

if you know what shoes you want then suggest TW. good to patronize local stores but not when customer satisfaction is compromised. just my $.02.

Did some internet research last night. Looks like I have golfers elbow. Oh the irony, I've never played a round of golf in my life!

That sucks. My arm is fine, and I am back to full poly. I think I had golfer's too..I am not sure though. Serving wrong was what got my arm. Once I fixed that, I was good. I hope it stays that way..maybe you overplayed or something?

I went to the SA and tried on the New Balances..I could not pull the trigger. Even though my barricades are completely shredded, they feel so good to play in. I guess I can't go back to cheap shoes now that I bought them..sucks. I am going to play out these barricades until they come off my feet. Maybe by then Etennis will have responded to me.

...badcall banned? He is super nice! I wonder what he did..lol.

As for the golfer's elbow, that is in addition to my elbow bursitis or whatever else is going on toward the tip of my elbow. I did it using a pretty extreme continental grip hitting kick serves my last match. I may still give it a go on Saturday.

Etennis hooked me up. They gave me half off another pair of Barricade IIs which was great. I have to give them props because they treat you right.

So they did not honor the full warranty? Those are fairly expensive shoes if I recall, so even half off is a good bargain. You did get several months use out of the original pair.

Nah..the shoes are only $89, probably the best deal for the quality. So I paid around 45 for a new pair. I will probably buy another similar pair and alternate.

It was a good deal because I tried on the NBalance 515s yesterday and they just did not have that real soft comfy feeling I am used to from the BIIs.

The 515s are the one I use. I don't think the Barricades come in a wide size, so that is not an option for me unfortunately.

Well I think my golfer's elbow is gone now. I played a pro set Saturday and had a few aces which was nice. The tip of my elbow has some soreness, but between injuries and rain, I'm feeling pretty good except for the fact that I'm getting fatter by the day!

Power_Player, I saw that you had a question about reducing grip size on another thread that was pretty long. I tried the Laserfibre twintone replacement grips and they probably will reduce your grip size by about 1/8. Putting the replacement grip on is just like putting on an overgrip, you just have to be a little more methodical since the replacement grip has glue.

I use a 4-1/4 grip on my grips. I definitely prefer the smaller grip size.

Nice..so since I am bad at math..I have a 3/8ths grip now..this (http://www.laserfibrestore.com/product_p/lftfgr.htm) will reduce the grip to a 1/4?

I wonder if Etennis has these.

3/8 - 1/8 = 2/8 or 1/4

I've never seen these in a store. I bought mine from TW.

if they do have it, don't be surprised if it's closer to $20 from them. had to haggle with them once for a $15 heat sleeve...which TW sells for $2. also put it on myself.

I'm going to order that laserfibre..that may be the way to go. Then if I don't like the 1/4 inch grip, I can just buy a regular leather again and go back to 3/8ths.
