spoiler means the message thread is going to "spoil" the results for those who haven't seen the match but plan to see it.

Yeah, people get more annoyed when "spoiler" isn't used.

Yes but usually just the title "spoiler" gives away the result..
Why would anyone write a "Roddick Spoiler" or 'Henin spoiler" unless it was about the high seeded person losing.. It becomes pretty obvious.. Not that I care . |

dude, no it doesn't. i've posted and read posts where it's a routine win, but its nice to discuss with people who have seen the match but don't give away the score in the title.
