All the heavy rain stayed right at I-4 and to the east. OTC just got some light rain. I fell on my butt in the first game near a muddy patch of clay next to the side fence. There was another area on the other side of the court that I almost pulled my hamstring on about 3 separate occasions sliding for the ball. The balls were not picking up any moisture, so the top layer of the clay was dry.

I've never gone to the doctor for any tennis injury, but I may have to go see a buddy of mine who is an orthopedic surgeon. I can deal with elbow pain but now I'm getting a little concerned I may be doing long term damage. The other thing I may try is going back to all synthetic gut for a little while.

Power Player, where was your arm pain when you were having problems with some of the stiffer polys? I injured my elbow using all synthetic gut last year, but maybe using BA all year has finally caught up to my elbow.

It was the outside of my arm and felt like I threw it out. It ended up being my service motion that was killing me due to a few flaws in it. I thought it was the poly for sure because my arm was so dead.

What I would do is buy some Pro Supex Maxim Touch and see how long a full bed will last you.

Glad you got it in around all the rain. With SSgator playing tournaments he is probably seeing the ball pretty well. Sounds like a good match and awesome too that you both have a new person to play against.

Yeah, those tournaments can really help your game. We were laughing last night how the roles are reversed for us. He can play a lot of tennis now because his kids are grown. I played a ton of tennis for 5 years before the bambino but now my time is more limited.

How long did Pro Supex Maxim Touch last for you? I have about half a reel of BA left that I'll need to pawn off if that works out.

I tried it once as a junior. Broke it in the 2nd set. Not paying for that again!

Hey what are the ranking of the CFTW members? I would like to come out OTOWN and hit, but I know of Mikeler is probably above me. So I'm just asking......
Just want to see where I would fit in, and who and where would I play.

It may give you 2 weeks or less. It matters how much spin you use. I think it is the best deal for a non poly string.

Hmm, I should have asked the number of sets I could get out of it. If I can get over 10 sets I might try it.

I've been taking it on the chin lately, so I'm probably down to a strong 4.5.

You could. I am going to buy some more and Ill test it out again. Its my favorite non poly string. I am seeing how durable this SPPP is. If I can get over 2 weeks out of it, Im buying a reel.

So you are no longer using the Big Ace? I see your signature has CyberFlash now.

Yeah mikeler I wouldn't be a warm up to you. Lol.
But it would be nice to hit with someone who is strong than me right now, and to see where my game is at.

What about. the other members, anyone?

Just talked with a buddy of mine who is not a string breaker. He had true tennis elbow bad last year. He said natty gut helped, but even he would break it after a few matches. If he used string savers, he'd get about 15 matches out of it. That could be an option for me.

I know the BA is not the problem. I've been using it in my hybrid with Gamma SG 16 in the crosses since February. I hurt my elbow almost a year ago just using PSGD. Last April or May, I did not feel a thing in my elbow. Just 1 match a few weeks ago and I could barely hold my racket. I have a burning sensation in my elbow now, seems normal right?

I'll play 4.0s left handed! My elbow is shot. I'm going to try and see a buddy of mine who is an orthopedic surgeon before I get back out on the court...right handed.
