Btw, Hollywood, I very much recommend Mizunos for running. I would, however, also suggest that you go to a running store where they can watch you run and suggest a few shoes that suit you best according to your gait.

My problem, and I dealt with it once before (oddly enough, the last time I trained for the Army 10 miler the same thing happened) is Illiotibial Band Syndrome. Pretty much a whole lot of overuse. Guess the running plus tennis was not such a great idea. I do have a friend who will buy my registration, though, so at least I will get my money back.

Hey, guys I posted a vid of myself hitting if anybody is interested. I start hitting around the 1:25 mark, before this its serves and return of serves. I am in dire need for better hitting partners. Anybody willing to drive to Bowie MD to hit with me?

Do you work during the day or go to work? I could possibly meet you during the day time. Nights are out of the question.

I am 15 therefore I go to school. I come home around 3:00. I can play almost any time after 3:00. The problem is that I don't have transportation so I could only play at 2 courts near my house.

That sucks. There is a poster up in Towson who is about your age. I'm sure he has the same transportation problems.

No, my parents are don;t care at all about my tennis and I have financially support my self and buy all the equipment myself. Tournaments are way too expensive for me and my parents don't care and are very ignorant of my passion and drive for tennis. All my hitting partners are at a lower level than me. But I can't do better because of the lack of resources. I taught myself how to play and never got a tennis lesson but in 2 years of playing tennis I am able to play at 4.0.

Yes, but high school season is in the spring and there are usually 25 people on 4 courts, so I don't really get better. I was undefeated in doubles last year until I went to states.

Tough spot. If you lived closer to DC, the chances of hitting would be better. Are you going to play for your high school?

Not undefeated in the states but I was undefeated in the season or my district and regions.

You have some nice strokes. Why don't you hit with the guys from your team in the off season. You played 1 Dubs so I'm guessing the 1-4 singles guys would be a better challenge for you.
