Borg vs Vilas, French Open 1978.

Vilas played against a wall in that match.

I remember Grosjean beating Agassi at one time with quite good tennis, don't know which match it was, but I seem to remember Grosjean playing really really well..

That was last year, and he lost to Niemenen following his win over Roddick.

2008. Kohlshreiber actually went on the lose to Jarko Nieminen. What a difference a day makes, I suppose.

I want to add another, Tipsarevic v Federer AO 08, might be under rated, but I really thought for a good portion of the match that the guy was gonna beat Federer. I mean when he took the first set, the crowd went berserk.

Borg-Connors Wimbledon 1978 Final-Borg crushed Connors, losing only 7 games. Borg was very effective at the net.

McEnroe-Connors Wimbledon 1984 Final-Legendary match. Mac made I think only 2 or 3 unforced errors on grass!

Laver-Ashe Wimbledon 1969-Both players were great in the first two sets. Jack Kramer said that either player could have beaten anyone that ever lived in those sets.

Tsonga-Nadal Aussie Open 2008 Semi-Tsonga made Nadal look helpless. Incredible volleys by Tsonga. Why can't he play like that more often?

Mecir-McEnroe-1987 WCT Finals-Mecir was incredible

Nastase-Borg-Masters 1975 Final-Nastase had the ball on a string and destroyed Borg.

They say Vines-Austin in the 1932 Wimbledon Final was one of the finest matches ever played. Vines supposedly hit a serve so fast on the last point that Austin didn't see which side he aced him on. Hard to believe but that's the legend.

They say Lew Hoad played a lot of matches in which he was incredible.

Sampras-Agassi Wimbledon Final 1999-Sampras won 6-3 6-4 7-5. One of the best matches I've seen Sampras play. I thought Agassi played well but Sampras was supreme.

Nadal-Federer-2008 French Open Final-Nadal was invincible and didn't gave Federer any chance.

Nalbandian-Federer-2005 Masters Cup Final-Incredible play by Nalbandian the last three sets.

Federer-Agassi-2003 Masters Cup Final-Agassi looked in shock as if he couldn't believe anyone could play that well.

Aus open 2005 QF Hewitt v Nalbandian, great play by both could have gone either way, watching nalbandian play, you would think he would have won the whole tournament. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcLibz8DT0I

To name a few

Fed-Roddick AO 2007 (A thorough thrashing. Hell, AO 2007 was Fed at his best)

Fed-Nadal FO 2008 (Seriously smackdown laid by Nadal)

Soderling-Nadal (Soderling played incredibly well and Nadal seemed like he didn't have any answers for his shots)

Del Potro-Nadal USO 2009 (Del Potro at his best)

Yes you are both correct. I confused AO 2008 that Djokovic won with AO 2009 that Nadal won.

Yes it was one of the greatest matches ever and Nadal won it fair and square.According to Federer he was feeling and playing well .

How would you compare your game now to your game a year ago this time?

ROGER FEDERER: Well, now it's better again. Maybe at the beginning of the year, like I said, I felt a little slow. Just felt a little bit rattled due to the sickness I had.
But today I feel as good again as last year. You know, one year has gone by. I've played plenty of matches. I feel like I'm playing well, which is good.

Nadal vs Federer Miami 2004. Nadal's first match against Federer and imo Nadal was fantastic. Even the commentators here in the UK said watching this you would wonder who was the world number 1.
