How do you know that Sampras would have won anyway. We shouldn't be giving sampras extra slams.

Obviously if you could prove this you would have gave a link for evidence. Without sufficient evidence your theory is ludicrus. I think you also might be abit angry that Sampras' record has been broken and you clearly haven't moved on from that.

She's an Agassi fan; I was a Sampras fan.

I don't think she's a Serena fan, I am.

We both like Rafa...

Is that what confused you and made you think we both shared the same brain?

It's kind of ironic though, because here I was thinking how much you and that other guy mimic each other=share the same brain.

It is to funny how some of the fed lovers are so obsessed with nadal cheating with some kind of doping. It must really crush them how nadal has taken their hero to the wood shed so many times. But it definitely boarders on weird when they are literally praying for him to get busted.

As far as agassi i must say it is pretty bad when his father is giving him speed for a match+ not even telling him what it is.But as far as agassi using on his own it is not that big of a deal.

It was not that long ago that pro players took steroids all the time with no repercussions.I remember bill walsh coach for the 49's said he had no problem with a player using steroids. Many years in baseball players used speed, i remember pete rose saying that he took it during the grind of the season.Nothing happened in those days it was no big deal.

For years you have been able to buy energy pills at gas stations that are just like speed. This stuff may help some but it can also take away from your ability by making you to jittery.

So agassi did a little speed during his career, big frigging deal. It makes me wonder what world a lot of you dogooders grew up in!!!!!!!!!!!

I think never before from the Tennis world have we gotten a bunch of poseurs like we've gotten in the aftermath of the Agassi "confession" to using Meth. The Royal Poseur award goes to Navratilova, who compared Agassi to Roger Clemens. Well.

I was a Navratilova fan when it wasn't in vogue, when she played the role of the villain opposite the people's hero, Chris Evert. I could care less that she is gay, and I felt for her given her tortured career. I admired her work ethic and intellect.

No more.

It wasn't just the Agassi comment. She's been chipping away at respectability for a while now. Now she's put the nail in it.

Observe:

1) the details revealed of her private life don't reveal a giving considerate person, she apparently discarded her last partner like trash

2) in recent years, observing her combative commentary on the air, it's really grated on me. It's not that she's not entitled to her opinion, it's just that she's frequently dismissive of her broadcast partners (maybe like her private life partners)

3) now, the Agassi comment

Out of left field. Makes you wonder what kind of relationship was there beforehand that she so quickly took the opportunity to pounce.

Comparing Agassi to Clemens ? Lets see, she fails the intellect test there.
Clemens was a starting pitcher when he took performance enhancing drugs, and that is alleged. Agassi ? Out of the top 100, the drug he took wouldn't help him crush any backhands, far from it. I wonder if Agassi's religious beliefs are what is at the heart of this attack.

I'm done with Navratilova. She's an aging, self-absorbed poseur

Outstanding X 750! I couldn't have stated it any better myself, tlm!

Years of frustration at their hero, Federer, being taken to the 'wood shed' by Nadal has got to show at some point!

Eufemiano Fuentes told Cadena Ser radio: "I'm angry about the whole matter. I've worked with other sports; tennis, football and athletics. There are a lot of names that haven't come out."

And we should just believe the Spanish anti-doping authorities right!? Because they would turn in their national hero Rafael Nadal right?
He also said the filtration has been "selective"...

The Fuentes case is quite interesting. There is actually evidence of him working with footballers and track athletes. I have read old articles in the spanish media where he talks about enhancing the performance of spanish athletes using medical procedures that do not show up in doping tests. It goes on to say he was a member of the spanish olympic committee and an official doctor of the spanish athletic federation. He was also the club doctor of a couple of professional soccer clubs.

That case was handled really poorly by the authorities. Half the blood-bags seized disappeared, funds were cut and investigators were not allowed to access EF's computer. There is a german documentary called "blut und spiele" in which an investigator claims they were told they could only investigate cycling.

The team doctor of Francaise des jeaux, Gérard Guillame stated "It's now clear to everyone but the Spanish authorities that Spain is the headquarters of doping in Europe, for every sport."

But he obviously hasn't heard of Humanplasma in Vienna...

Guys like Simon or Davydenko, who can play for hours without getting tired and without having a great phisique are just as suspicious as Rafa is.
Why? Having a "great physique" is bad for your running economy.

He said he used meth for a year. 1998 is after 1997, no? Also look at him, you dont see alot of meth users bulking up while doing it. He made physical improvements at the begining of the steroid era on meth? Ok...

How did he get off the meth anyways, i thought it was highly addictive? Did he undergo treatment during his run in 1998? A few logical pieces are still missing from this story. You dont just quit.
