Wasn't there a limited second run of Ultra 2's just a few years ago, for the Asian market or something like that? Perhaps this is the origin of the black buttcapped U2.

Just asking. I don't know a whole heck of a lot about Wilson frames; tried them in period, but never care too much for them.

Anyway, yes there was a limited run in Japan of the Ultra II's a few years ago (came in a nice wooden box)!

Also like I said earlier there was a classic beam version (or something similar) in the 90's that had the original Ultra II graphics as far as I remember?

But I'm talking about the Black buttcaps with the white W.
