Question MSV HEPTA TWIST - anybody knows about this new twisted mono CoPoly string ?

MSV HEPTA TWIST - anybody knows about this new twisted mono CoPoly string ?

I'm about to get some test strings and will buy a couple of these in 1.15 gauge in black to test it up against my current 'twisted' mono favorite - The Signum Tornado 1.17.

You can get it on TW Europe - just wanted to know if anyone had tested it.... Did a search in here, but NOTHING came up.

It's VERY new- probably only available in Europe at the moment.. I'm getting some of it soon from TW Europe too, can't wait! The prices of MSV on TW Europe are great, too.

Sounds like an interesting string! It's also a lot cheaper than Signum Tornado - although if you guys say that Tornado is worth the extra $, I'll still fork out the dough. I'm hoping that Topspin comes out with their "textured poly" soon too.

Sounds and looks like a copy of Tornado. They even copied the color name as anthracite.

^What? Last I checked, MSV is made in Germany... Also, last I checked, MSV strings don't exactly try to mimic anything else...

Love what MSV's put out so far. I'll give it a whirl if I can get my hands on some

According to my source for MSV Hex strings, MSV Hepta Twist will be MSV Hex with a longitudinal twist incorporated into the string. It will play similar to MSV Hex (i.e. tension maintanance and spin production.) It will come in black, white and red and in sizes 1.15mm, 1.20mm, 1.25mm and 1.30mm.

Actually, MSV's are "designed" in Germany but Made in Asia
Nonetheless, great string for the price!

That source must be smoking crack. MSV Hex has six edges. The new twist string is a copy of the Tornado and it is called Heptagonal (seven edges). So it is not the same as Hex with a twist incorporated.

What I meant to say is that the Hepta string is composed of the same base string as MSV hex/focus. It is extruded differently giving it the 7 edges. There is probably a Hepta related string that is going to be made that is composed of the same base string as Evo-hex/focus.
