As I expected Murray toughened up after losing the 2nd set, like Nadal did in match points, unlike Federer did.

True. I also think, though, that Murray played better than they did. And I'm a Rafa fan (sigh)...

Impossible, Murray never plays well. His opponents just gift it to him, that shows just how popular he is with the other pros.

Oh, Weathered...it's OK if Murray plays well now and then. Chin up!

*sigh* oh the pain one must go through to be a James Blake fan. Here we go again, James plays a heck of a match, pushes a top 4 player to the brink of defeat but just doesnt have the mental fortitude to push that one last step and get the W. I will continue to pull for him and support him because I am a true fan of his and though his results have been poor, he has showed some promise in the last month or so since switching coaches. You gotta love the guys fighting spirit. High ranking or not, the guy can still compete with the big boys. Hoping 2010 will be a good year for him.

Murrray should have retired and given James the match. He is hurting in his Groin area and he probably will lose in next 2 rounds......that is awfully Selfish of him......

Same here man. Hopefully he has something left for 2010. I believe he does.

James Blake is done. He should retire.

James Blake really bossed Andy Murray the no4 in the world.
No mean feat. Very impressive.
Unlucky in the end. Murray did well to hang in.
It was an entertaining and interesting match considering it was played in the early hours.

I really think Murray has a physical problem.
I don't think he is naturally strong enough for the exertions of top class tennis.
He seems to suffer from sore joints and has a knee disability.
He's talented enough to win slams but I just don't think his body is up to it.
People complain that he is a pusher and should play more aggresively but I really don't think he can physically sustain that sort of play.
