any serve as long as you don't feed the ball straight to the opponents strike zone (for short don't get pummeled by the return).
You got to commit, and not stop and stare at your serve. Must have a realiable serve (avg speed is good as long as its place well). Key is distract your opponent to focus more on the ball and not you. Move in after the serve, first stop is close to the service line (split step), if you move in too close to the net you'll get lob. Attack the incoming ball.

just good to hear someone considering the wonderful art of S&V..
its not going to be easy.. need to be/get fit as there is lot of effort in good serving (key) and then quick stepping to net and be ready for low volleys |
