Default Suggestion for TW

I think it would be a great idea if TennisWarehouse started selling and using the poly bags for rackets with the TW logo on it. The bags you see most pros use, the plastic ones. That way people can buy em and not only will u guys b making money off it, but MARKETING!

why would people buy a plastic bag? TW puts racquets that don't come with a single case in a plastic bag already. My friend ordered a kpro tour and tw put it inside a wilson plastic bag.

I think it would be a good idea because it would give TW more advertising. Im sure some stringers would buy them. They would also be better marketing than the generic or manufacture models that TW currently provides. I would be proud to use TW plastic, many players are impressed when I take my weapons out of plastic bags before war.

it wouldn't be a bad idea, because for those who use natural gut it would be a nice resource to have should the original poly bag that came with a racket rip.

It would also be cool if the online order form had some additional options, such as "Racket Matching (matching up with the review specs of a given racket) and "Stenciling" (option to have a custom-strung racket stenciled or not)

Obviously those would cost extra, and i know you can request this over the phone, but i think that having those options on the order form saves one from having to call or email the warehouse and request it after an order has been made.

Actually, I would buy a "soft" racquet cover from TW, like the ones that come with some Yonex racquets or from Vantage.

And racquet matching would be a great add-on service too!

I think it would be best if Tw sold the plain poly bags like GSS has but what I would really like to see is an option to have your logo printed on the bags.

that would indeed be cool, but i'm sure it wouldn't be the simplest, or cheapest, thing to do.

steve728, there is already racket matching offered, but you have to call and request it. i would just like to see the same option online, so that i wouldn't have to call. course, if people all saw that option, who knows if the frames that are way off spec would even sell.

any comments from TW?

another great idea would be stickers for rackets with the TW logo on it. like the ones you write the string and tension on after stringjobs.

i suppose, however now we're delving into nothing more than novelty add-ons, lol.

But yes, can a TW representative comment on this thread? I would like your feedback alot.

I agree with the stenciling idea. It would add some novelty/personalization options for the buyer, and it wouldn't be a difficult undertaking for whoever strings up the new frame.

The plastic bags would also be appreciated. For people who don't want to keep their racquet in it, it would be dead handy as a wet clothing bag after a match.

Just my two cents.

all new rackets come with the appropriate poly bag already.. I was hoping for a roll of these bags for using after the original rips, or as a wet bag etc. etc.

Now, it WOULD be cool if they did have specially printed TW poly bags.

Default Suggestions!

TW should give some rewards for american customers,"as our economy is not doing well" as George Bush Impersonated by Will Farrel would say LOL.
If you bought $100 dollars you get 5% discount on you r next purchase,i bet it would boost up the sales.
Or they could just give 10% discount on anything for customers who buy more than $500 during a year.
What do you all think.

I think TW thankfully shot down this suggestion in the past.

There is no need for plastic racquet bags.

There's enough garbage polluting the planet:

Thanks, didn't realize this. I've heard of special requests, like asking for a lower or higher weight than spec frame. But does TW match balance and swingweight (i.e., with lead, etc) in addition to racquet weight? I have yet to order two racquets at the same time, but if they can be matched exactly (like down to 1 g, balance, SW), I would definitely order two at a time (or more) next time.

BTW, TW service is so great, I would believe it!

We do offer a racquet matching service. There is an MRT labor charge of $20 per matched racquet.
