OK so you were kidding about that heel popping off to make noise too. ? right ?

Yes and no.

The shoe does make a bizarre popping noise but Its not because my heel slips out of the shoe. I don't actually know why the shoe makes a popping noise.

I noticed that sound on my latest pair but not the first pair I bought. I thought the last wasn't properly sealed on the second pair.

Funny thing, I only notice it when I'm walking, not when I'm playing. Doesn't affect the playability and comfort of the shoe, though, in my opinion.

I noticed this too and diagnosed it to be the new upper material they are using. It's considerably stiffer than the G1 uppers that it pops when you bend it and restore it to its natural shape. Annoying, but not nearly annoying as the extended break-in period with the G2's.

And yes.....the popping noise is very annoying. I actually got embarrased because I was playing mixed and my partner thought I farted!!

On the other hand if you do actually fart you can always blame it on the shoe!

I may kill 2 birds with 1 stone then. I have lots of gas and this could come in really handy,,,especially in mixed doubles...
