I think the Hawks just need a swift kick in the pants to remind them how to come back from deficits. That seems to be their big weakness. And converting power plays (22nd in the league with a 16.4% rate. ) Also, the Canadians might not win the gold at the Olympics--- we have Patrick Kane.

Haven't kept up with NHL in awhile, does Toronto still have that losing streak going on? Last I check, they were on #5

they got 3 wins now. They beat Carolina, Anaheim, and destroyed Detroit. Makes no sense that they kill Detroit but cant get on a solid run of wins.

They're looking very solid from the highlights I watched. Also, the Hawks are looking strong again. They can hold leads but I'm still unsure if they know how to come back from deficits.

Thumbs down

Oh great, the Circus trip. Every year the stupid Barnum Bros. circus kicks out the Bulls and the Hawks out of the United Center for a couple weeks. Road trip anyone?

Horrible game for the Stars tonight. Lost 4-1 to Columbus. They let Columbus pull them so far off of their game. Had 4 fights in the first period, then James Neal took a 5 minute major for bording and got a game misconduct. Columbus scored TWICE on the insuing powerplay. Dallas just played completely into Columbus' hands and way away from their own game.

The only bright spot was that Modano scored the lone Stars goal, which extended his point streak to 4 games. Not bad since he played 1 game then missed almost a month with an injury and has only been back 6 games. Take 2 games to get used to playing again then get at least 1 point in the next 4? not bad for an old guy.

The Hawks annihilated the Flames 7-1. Maybe the Circus Trip doesn't suck after all Versteeg scored twice, the birthday boy Patrick Kane got a present and Huet looked like a #1 goalie.

bruins win again in ot. 2 wins in a row to start the road trip is good. Maybe we can get back to last years form and start winning hockey games on a consistent basis. I still feel they are gonna need more offensive players if they plan to go deep in the playoffs later in the year but its a start.
