His worst level of play was against Cilic IMO.

Yeah, JMDP might be a stretch as Nadal has accomplished far more on HC, but I was more impressed with him I guess...

The French Open is the only tournament this year that Nadal has played where he failed to reach the quarter finals. Rafa's results have been pretty good since his return.

Nadal's history with Soderling goes back way before this year's French Open, back to the 2006 French Open when Nadal beat Soderling to overtake Vilas' clay-court winning streak, to 2007 Wimbledon with that crazy 5 set, 5 day match.

Delpo at USO. Delpo made him look helpless. Like he was a qualifier. No excuses when its a slam. Everything is on the line.

But at least JMDP has won the US Open (the Aussie Open isn't a hard court slam no matter what anyone says), but I suppose Nadal has won more Masters on hard court.

worst lost in terms of being totally outplay or a most painful one?

If it's a worst beatdown, I'll go with DP. If it's the most difficult one to accept, I'll go with Soderling.

delp at USO was by the most important AND the most dominated, so I'd pick that one. Cilic was the lowest ranked and quickest match, and the others weren't bad at all. Novak and Davy were playing too good (I don't know why someone would say a tired Nikolay?)

All of those matches were very one sided. Do you think that Nadal is still injured? I think something is going on with him.

It's far slower than any of the Masters Series hard court tourneys (including Miami) as far as I can tell, but I've never played on plexicushion/rebound ace, I'm just going off of HD TV...

EDIT: Btw, how is what I say ridiculous? It's my opinion, and I'm sure others share it.

Well then if AO is not a hard court, then Nadal can win 3 slams a year for the next 3 years and overtake federer's record. by age 26

What logic is this going off of?

The other poster said that Nadal only won Australian Open because it's not a real hard court. In this case, Nadal has a great shot to win Australian, French and Wimbledon in the next few years.

I'mi being silly because I do believe AO is a hard court.
