Default How does junior ITF work???

I'm a junior who plays tournaments a lot and find that i want to go to the next level. Ive looked on the junior ITF website but there is almost no info on how to start playing ITF events. is it as simple as getting an ipin???could someone please explain how it works...

Yep, get an ipin and then enter....you may be luck and get into Qualies...good luck

Surprisingly, the lower level ITF's aren't near as tough as playing a USTA sectional, but you can get a lot of points. One thing to remember, it is single elimination, no backdraw. One loss and you're out.

You have to win TWO rounds in ITF to get any points.

If you're in the USA, you can enter ITF tournaments through the USTA website:

If you enter one, look for your name on the ACCEPTANCE LIST, which is published about a month before the tournament. The acceptance list is on ITF web page.

If you need to back out, you'll have to fill out a withdrawal form & fax to T.D.

Angela Garcia, from the USTA is the ITF expert.
