If Tennis shirts are so useful (new fibers etc) how come pros are always training in T-Shirts (if not shirtless)? Another example of marketing at work obviously...

Ha whatever, i think general matchplay is abit more demanding than training, most players if it's hot and they are training hard play topless as this is the perfect system for losing body heat, but of course this is unsuitable for matchplay!

Cool, most players just practice in white shirts with a big logo.

To be honest david, have you played in hot weather in a cotton t-shir, and then done the same with a like dri-fit shirt or whatever? I have, and for me no matter what the polyester one always feels better. The cotton soaks up all the sweat and gets heavy, sticks to you, and is rough. The dri-fit, wipe your face with it, look down at it 5 minutes later, and it's dry. I mean, that shirt he's wearing could be a dri-fit material **** for all we know too....

Polyester belongs in the 70's.

i've been wearing Fila polyester shirts lately, and they are great when sweating hard. Unlike cotton, the shirt will NOT stick to ur body. The sleeves also won't cling to your arm and causing any dragging problems. Poly also look new after a year or 2 or washing them.
