Default Apacs Nano 900 Power Stringing Pattern

Anyone know the pattern for this frame? I'd like the 2 piece pattern with crosses going from head to throat.

I doubt anyone will know but just checking to see how good you stringers are out there

I'd bet money that jime finds the specs, or has them.

It seems like you're talking about a badminton rqt here as thats all I can find for an Apacs Nano 900, and none of their tennis rqts have this name.

So, I would start with the Yonex rqt that the Nano 900 has been copied from, possibly one of the Armorpro rqts.

Regards

Paul

that sounds like a copy of the yonex nano 9000. you need to tie back 4 strings on the mains, and you should be stringing badminton racket from bottom to top

Yes, sorry, I forgot to mention that this is a badminton racquet.

I've been told that the pattern is the same as the Yonex Arc 10, 7, & AT900. Now Yonex has the pattern for those here: http://www.yonex.com/badminton/strin...ons/index.html

Now these instructions like strange. For example, the 2nd to last mains are strung before the last main. I've never seen that before. Any reason for doing this?

Also, they are stringing from throat to head. Isn't that a no-no? Won't it risk damaging the frame. Just like in tennis, isn't it better to always string from head to throat?

I had strung an Apacs Olympic 0808 model last year and been told by Apacs that the pattern should be the same. I'm just not sure about it. I had strung it this way:

22 mains / 21 crosses
Mains skip: 8H, 10H, 12H, 14H; 11T
Mains tie: 6T
Crosses start knot: 5H
1st cross: 8H
Crosses tie: 8T

Shared holes: 13H, 15H, 12T, 10T, 9T

Now I'm not sure on the mains tie-offs. If you go to the klipper patterns website http://www.klipperusa.com/stringing/...n.php?mfg=BYON then you'll see that most of the yonex patterns tie off the mains at 8B (6 bottom/throat).

I have pics of both the Olympic and the Nano racquets here: http://s640.photobucket.com/albums/uu129/topspin_tw/

The Olympic is strung. I took some close ups of it. Does it look right or should I have tied off the mains at 8throat?

Do you mean stringing the 3rd from last main, missing the penultimate main, stringing the last main and then going back & stringing the penultimate main? If so, then this is the way that some Yonex frames are to be strung.

Also, stringing from throat to main on badminton rqts is considered the best way. Follow those instructions and you'll be fine.

Regards

Paul

Interesting. Sounds good. I'll do it the Yonex way.

Just curious as to why stringing from T to H is better for Yonex frames. Can anyone enlighten me?
