This is just my stupid take on this, but all that tension is now lost since the knot was the only thing really holding the tension. It is to short to tension again it seems, but someone here would have an idea of how to save it! If you string for yourself, just restring it and go on

i don't think you need to restring it. i only knot it once, just like that in the picture, for my last cross because i have a 18x20 93 frame, and 2 knots are too much. so i don't think it matters

Don't sweat it. A single half hitch isn't a great tie-off knot, but it isn't a disaster either. Chances are it's not going anywhere and you won't lose any tension because of it. You might want to study up on some better knots for next time though.

Hit with it. I doubt you'll notice the difference.
And how did that happen?! I cut my excess string REALLY close to my knots, and that hasn't ever happened to me.

I would put a drop of clear finger nail polish on the knot, let dry then cut off excess string. Looks like it will hold tension to me.

It doesn't matter, still holds tension.
I would try to knot it again (difficult, but possible) an play on!

You may have lost a little tension but not much. I am not sure if you string you own rackets or not but if you do you should check in to a parnell knot so this will never happen again.
