Karlovic is quite a funny paintjob. It is clearly just a blacked out head racquet with babolat on the strings.

You can see the double bridge on the throat, and the unique grommets.
That Aerogel 500 is a great racket but how does Rafter control the power ???

Rod Laver painted his Dunlop Fort Gold when he was under contract with CHEMOLD.

I gotta think the former World #1 knows what frame works best for his game, don't you think? BHBH

Agreed.

It's a wonder Dunlop even feels the need to paint his racquets today. As far as I know, not many people look at Pat Rafter's racquet on the Outback Champions Tour. And, come to think of it, not many people watch Pat Rafter on the Outback Champions Tour. And, now that I'm on the topic, I don't think most people know the Outback Champions Tour exists.

Hey now, Dunlop needs as much exposure as they can get. Tommy Robredo, their best player, isn't much of a household name on tour. Plus, beloved and respected retired players still have loyal fanbases and can still ink big sponsorship $$ (i.e. Sampras=Wilson, Agassi=Head, Seles=Yonex). With his charisma and looks, Rafter is a huge celebrity in Australia!
