Hi guys,
Can somebody (or maybe all of you) tell me what exactly the difference is between the Signum Pro: - Tornado (17) - Hyperion (17) - Poly-Plasma Pure (17/17L) I am searching for an armfriendly poly with a thin gauge. I did some research about the Signum Pro string, but i can't really figure out the differences myself, so i would really appreciate your help. Tell me everything about it, the specs, your experiences, your recommendations, anything.. I also saw some good reviews of the Tecnifibre Black Code, so i just ordered it to experience myself. (maybe you know also the difference between TBC and Signums) If you know another really good armfriendly thin poly, just let me know! Thanks in advance to you all, Michel (Shellovic)

The tornado and hyperion are my choices from what you have listed.
Tornado is twisted or spiral like a tornado for maximum spin and the hyperion is just that with out the twist. Don't know much about SPPP. TBC is another which will rival the tornado. but i like both for comfort and spin.

Lots of support for SPPP on TW website --- I've noticed alot of hybrid situations with SPPP in mains and syn gut in the crosses. If you want arm friendly and durable, this is the perfect set up. Do a Search and you'll find many posts for this hybrid combination.

I agree although Black Code is pretty nice too. Hyperion is a great string!

I played a guy the other night who had a full bed of Tornado. He loves it, and I must say, he was hitting a great deal of topspin - probably more than he normally hits. He was in love with Black Code prior to switching to Tornado, but now he likes Tornado better.
Take care. DH

As already said:
Signum Pro Poly PLASMA was last years poly from Signum - it has very good tension stability, feels pretty stiff, but not Luxilon like stiff - and is cheap. It's not TWISTED normally is it angled in shape. Signum Pro Hyperion is the successor to the Signum Pro Poly PLASMA. It's a bit softer and less stiff on the arm, has even better tension and elasticity maintenance, has a bit more power, feels better overall in many opinions and comes in a nice black color. It's a straight shape CoPoly and is my favorite used as a hybrid cross string with Xcel power multi and also with VS NATTY GUT. SIGNUM Pro Tornado is the sister to the Hyperion string. It's heptagonal shaped and TWISTED in shape for better spin. It has almost as good tension and elasticity stability as the Hyperion and is also black in color. I prefer the Hyperion to the Tornado overall, but both are FANTASTIC good strings. Tecnifibre BlackCode is also a new black CoPoly and is also heptagonal shaped, but - as far as I know - not TWISTED into shape, but still has nice spin. It's a very good CoPoly, but I prefer both the Tornado and the Hyperion to the BlackCode, but the BlackCode is still a really GREAT string in my view ! If you want a very soft TWISTED heptagonal shaped CoPoly, that feels almost like a multi then Try the brand new WeissCannon TurboTwist string.
