Speaking of the top, can someone explain to me what these mattress or pillow tops are or why one needs them? Also, is this a somewhat newish trend, or were they always around and I somehow missed it?
Can anyone handle these?

The Hilton beds are the best you can buy, they'll set you back $1500 minimum though.
