Default Traction of shoes?

Im using the Nike Air Zoom Breathe Frees and really like there comfort and the durability is okay but the traction isn't that good. I've had them for about 4 months and there already smooth on their forefoot. Are there any nike shoes that have traction that could last longer.

The only are of durability I have to worry about is under my big toe. I like Nike shoes but feel free to reccommend other brands.

Would the Speed Herringbone design on the Nike Vapors and Air Max Voltage shoes be good?
