It is only February...

Wait, just checked him..He's only played 5 ATP matches! and he's 29!

So, how do you know him, cause truthfully, I've never heard of him before.

I'm not Canadian, but I saw him play at the Toronto Masters Series in 2006, against James Blake. I have a few photos but I can't remember the match very well. People were saying he is 'breaking through'. I guess he didn't.

Someone raved about him as the guy to watch. And he only turned 19 in October. Sad if something happened to him.

I am a semi-retired American and I worked in Moldova off and on for several years. Its a real nice agricultural country. Their main product is wine and everyone here makes their own. Even I did that a couple of years ago and still have some left. People are very friendly and most of them speak Russian, as do I. Very easy to travel from here to tennis tournaments around the world, which I do two to three times a year. Not a bad life, thank you.

I watched a court level match with him against peter polansky. He just was playing and missed a shot and he sat on the lawn chair right bside me and stuff.

I asked Fred Niemeyer about him a while back, and even he had no idea what Bester's up to.

I watched him lose a tough 3 set match against Baghdatis at the Odlum Brown in Vancouver this summer. There is no doubt this kid has all the tools to be a great player, however I am not sure if he has the mental toughness yet. I know he was considered one of the best players at the Bollettieri Academy when he was there.
