I'd asked you a while for information on the specs and gear (Strings, grips, etc...) for certain players but ultimately, never got a response. Those players were:

Alicia Molik

Iveta Benesova

Elena Bovina (both her yonex and head)

Daniela Hantuchova (both yonex and babolat)

Patty Schnyder

Maria Sharapova

Karolina Sprem

Vera Zvonareva

Should I care about this? No

Does it fascinate me? Yes

Thanks for the info, you can email me at LordCirque@aol.com

Sorry about the delay man, I've got a lot of things on my plate these days, what with work, uni, work, tennis and the inevitable amount of time us waste thinking about women. anyhow, I dont have the specs for all of these players, but of the list you have, this is what I could come up with.

If you can get specs of Tom Martinez, they'd probably be a lot more accurate, since JCS have their own proprietary machinery which is apparently far more accurate than the Babolat RDC that i was using.

All the specs I'm about to quote are for strung (i think) frames with the grips "as is". By that I mean, how the players would actually play with it.

PS, when I quote the racquet type, I'm just going to quote what paintjob it is. Often times I'm not really sure whats under the paintjob because quite frankly, I have a life, and dont know every racquet that every manufacturer has spat out in the last 10 years.

Daniella Hantuchova - Yonex RD-Ti 80 (i think it really is one though)
string: VS Team 130 (25/24kg)
length: 28"
balance: approx 324~325mm
weight: 358g (strung)
ra: 62
sw: 345
pattern: 18x20

------------------
Elena Dementieva - MP Tour 1 98 (i think it was one too)
string: Alu Power (22/21kg)
length: 27"
weight: 345g (strung)
ra: 65
sw: 320
pattern: 16x19

Hantuchova was using Alu Mains and VS Touch crosses at 23/21 recently.

Did you string for Elena Dementieva personally??

What tension is she using in pounds?

She is my favourite WTA player and I also use ALU and would like to compare my tension to hers.

It obviously didn't help the serve

I strung for her personally, yes.
She was stringing at 22/21kg.. Just multiply that by 2.2 to get it in pounds.
