What's the huge difference? (Vapor vs Lunarlite Vapor)

So I'd like to know the differences of the Vapor IV's and the Lunarlite Vapor IV's. I read the product details of the Lunarlite ones and Nike has improved it quite a bit, and not to mention the design. Sure they added a few things, but I'd like to hear from anyone who has had experience with both shoes, or even one of them even is fine with me. So is the extra 40 bucks really worth the Vapor Lunarlite IV ones? Or should I just go ahead and choose the Vapor IV ones?

From what I saw when Fed wore them, the Lunarlite material while it makes the shoe wmore conmfortable anf light, it seems to wear out pretty fast.

i heard that the midsole crumbles

personally, i dont think the midsole crumbles. that shot of the shoe that is everywhere showing the midsole flaking away reveals that federer probably slipped on that side of the shoe, rubbing on the midsole.

comparing both shoes, the VI's are very stiff right out of the box. im still trying to break mine in and ive had mine for 2 weeks now. I went running in them to try and break them in and i ended up getting a blister. when i tried the LL vapors on, they felt very comfortable and soft, probably with very low break in time. the uppers were infinitely more flexible than the VI's which might take away from the stability. On court, the VI's felt pretty decent, good traction, support, and stability, but they just felt very hard on the feet. I didnt get any court time with the LL's but i assume they are a softer version with more flex, same traction, and a little less stable feeling.

I've played the Vapor IV and V. The Vapor VI felt too stiff to me so I did not buy them. The LLVapors did not fit snug in my size as the toe box was really wide. My older Vapors all fit quite snug in the toe box for me.

I think you meant the Vapor VI (6) and the LunarliteVapor which is Vapor VII(7)

Vapor IV are over three years ago.
