Default A Woman in Berlin

I just got done watching a movie called A Woman in Berlin. Its about the Soviet occupation of Berlin at the end of World War 2 and explains many of the horrors the inhabitants have to live through such as mass rapes, murders, etc..

Here is a picture from the movie

Default B.t.k.

Well I just got done watching the movie B.T.K. starring Kane Hodder as Dennis Rader, some people may remember Kane Hodder as Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th films. The movie is good but its based loosely on what actually happened, by the way B.T.K. stands for bind, torture, and kill.

Here is a picture from the movie(this is the antagonist in the film)

Ninja Assassin. Total let down. If someone had told me three years ago that I would not enjoy a movie called Ninja Assassin made by the people that made the Matrix I would have slapped them, but alas this one puts the *** in Assassin.

Pick a true classic, Shogun Assassin, http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1034392064/tt0081506 Or Iron Monkey.

Agreed. Any movie where a guy kills people while holding a baby gets my vote as good.

and I watched Transporter 3 last night. Wasnt bad. What you expect from a transporter movie. Fast car, attractive girl, and someone getting their *** kicked.

I, too, saw SR for the first time recently. I thought it was one of the best movies I've seen in a while (though I haven't been watching many movies lately). Well acted, well produced and well written. There is something about a good story - you just know it when you see it. The plot was executed at a brilliant, natural pace. Nothing felt forced and one needn't make spoiling suspensions of disbelief as is the case with so many movies. Did it change the way movies are made or the way we watch them? No, not really. But after the watching it, I almost wanted to commit a crime, get thrown in jail (skip the r@ping), break out and move to a beach in Mexico.

The most recent movie I watched was Boondock Saints at the strong urging of a friend. This movie tried so hard to be so many things, it was embarrassingly painful to watch at times. It took me some time to realize that this was a camp flick. Once I started watching with that perspective, I still thought it sucked. There were some funny moments, but more funny-bad moments.

Finally got to see Red Cliff (theatrical version), was very good although not excellent( only maybe because I had very high expectations).

I watched Moon last night and really enjoyed it. A lot deeper than most sci fi flicks go any more.

I enjoyed it. Lots of it are taken from "Solaris" though.

The Andrei Tarkovsky's film I mean, not the Clooney's version.
