I still wake up usually at either 2am (when the ambien wears off) or 5am with pain, and am able to get back to sleep for a few more hours.
Today was my 8 week appointment with my surgeon. Although I have Adhesive Capsulitis (Frozen Shoulder) I have made good progress in the last 2 weeks since getting out of the sling.

I am going a bit nuts and trying many different treatments per week, and working hard at it.
I am going to PT 2x, a chiro 2x for ART (Active Release Technique) and Graston and once a week for Trigger Point Acupuncture. I started this more aggressive schedule 2 weeks ago, and my ROM is improving a lot.
Today I was cleared for some active strengthening b (but not in the scapular plane).
He still thinks I will be hitting ground strokes in June or July.

I am working hard at my recovery, and slowly making it out of the woods. I still ache but it is getting more manageable.

Gary

I am watching the Rome Tennis Tourney, and I cannot wait to hit some balls. ....

Thanks for your positive thoughts Larry. Hope your shoulder is staying strong and feeling well.

Best,

Gary

Hi Gary. Good luck in your recovery. I had frozen shoulder after a SLAP repair, RC clean up, and acromioplasty back in December. Felt like an eternity until I could move the darn thing. But at 4 months I was cleared to hit light groundies (playing with my 8 year old son now) and feel like I will be normal again. Doc still says 9-12 months until 100%.

It's a long road, but you'll get there!
