The one I bought is pretty much 27". I may add .5" later but will have to play with it a bit to see. Strung it up with a hybrid of Genesis Typhoon and OG sheep at 50. The racquet is very light and needs quite a bit of lead. I'll let you know how it hits once I get a chance.

I had the POG 1 through POG 4.5. I traded the POG 2, and sold all of my POG 4's and 4.5's. I only kept the single green-striped versions because I really liked the simple cosmetics.
By the way, I felt the POG 3.5 played similar to the POG 4 and 4.5. I still have my POG 4.5 full cover autographed by Michael Chang with "Jesus Loves You" and signature, that I might list for sale, soon. Thanks for posting this thread. Great info. |

My first racquet was the Prince Comp Graphite 1984. It was awesome then and its awesome now. I used it when I was little and I could get some pace on the ball. I just recently got into Tennis as an adult and the club pro who I take lessons from told me it was old junk and too get rid of it. He recommended the Prince TT Scream. I wished I did'nt listen to him and throw it away. The racquet still goes $130. Even though the TT Scream is good, the POG is a great racquet. It generates a lot of pace, is'nt too heavy and not too stiff that you lose control.

Just thought I'd let you know; I didn't like the LB as much. Much prefer the mid. Now I have to get rid of that and find some more mids...

Is there a racquet that is very similar to the POG OS but swings lighter? I have two 1 stripe POGs and they seem to swing very heavy. Much heavier than my BLX 95. The feel on contact of the POG is awesome. But I cannot get the whip on my serve or backhand to produce consistent spin.

Pwned,
Have you tried the 4 stripe os? I'm no expert but my 1 stripe os weighed like 13.3 oz strung with an overgrip whereas 4 stripes are ~12.3-12.5 oz range. They are much easier to swing. I'm really enjoying POG mids right now. |

How does the Tour compare to the original POGs from the 80s and 90s? Thanks for your thoughts!

That's true. I had a 4 striper and it was a bit lighter. Maybe not quite as light as I'd like though. I shouldn't have got rid of it anyhow. I think an Ozone tour or Diablo MP might fit the bill.

Has anyone here used the POG 6 (Tour) and the 4-stripe versions (POG 4-4.5)? If so, how do they compare? I have played with 4-stripe versions and I really the weight and balance of it. I hear conflicting things of the tour... it's way off from the 4-stripes.. versus no change...any advice? thanks.

How would you describe the mid in comparison with OS? Do they have the same plush feel? Thanks.

I used to play with mid before the OS.. it has the same plush feel.. it's a spin monster too 14x18 pattern...I think the Prince got it wrong with the EXO3 graphite.. they should have just made a 100 sqin POG 27in.. that would have made everyone happy...

Not as much plow through or power. Obviously smaller sweet spot. More spin and easier to whip. I am more comfortable with it on my 1hbh.
