My guess is that these three (amongst other players) have their racquets strung privately, and not by the tournament service.

Dent strings at 43 lbs?! Really? Wow, I like it...

Yes, correct, they are stringing privately with Priority 1, not Star Stringing.

Thanks a lot.
So is Nadal really with RPM Blast or it is a different black string??
Would you be able to provide the women's as well?
And did you remember what gauge was Zverev's Hyperion?

I can only speculate about Nadal's string...I did see it up close and it did have the hexagonal texture, so I can only assume it really is RPM Blast. I can't remember Zverev's gauge, like I said, if I didn't post it, I probably don't know.

I do have access to the women's log, but it is a lot of trouble to copy and paste it all on here and I don't think many people are as interested in it. If you want to find out about someone in particular, I will take requests and post them in this thread.

Vbranis,
thanks a lot for all the info posted.
Some people in these threads here have said or were speculating Nadal uses 1.35 gauge, but you put as 16g so that question is answered
I don't know if Sharapova played there, but if you have her data I'd like to know her set up and Dementieva,Stosur,Ivanovic,Jankovic's.

Is that right, that Simon plays his IntelliTour in 16 (1,30mm) and not in 17 (1,23mm)?

This is a real testament to the durability of polyester strings. 1.10 is about as thin as any string made.

Interesting, thanks a lot.

Seems like Stepanek was trying to play with his set-up a bit. I seem to recall he used to play with full gut. Pacific, I think.

I wonder if that had to do with him starting to slip down the rankings and performing quite poorly, which eventually ended up with him taking a two-month break from tennis.

@vbranis:

Is that right, that Gilles Simon plays usually the IntelliTour with 16G and not 17G?

How many times are you going to ask the same question?

Yes, unless there was a mistake when writing it down (highly unlikely, but I suppose possible)
